Experience to level:
When creating a character, you will start out at level #0 with 0 experience points. Basically, you will be as the masses . . . a peasant. You will have to adventure to rise above your status as a common denizen.
There are three ways to gain experience in this world as follows:
1. Killing a creature ----------------------- : Normal experience.
2. Capturing a creature ------------------- : +10% additional experience gained.
3. Allying self with a hostile creature - : +20% additional experience gained.
It is very basic and simple how the experience-point system works:
For levels 0 to 10: you will need: 100 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 11 to 20: you will need: 200 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 21 to 30: you will need: 500 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 31 to 40: you will need: 900 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 41 to 50: you will need: 1,400 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 51 to 60: you will need: 2,000 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 61 to 70: you will need: 2,700 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 71 to 80: you will need: 3,500 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 81 to 90: you will need: 4,400 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 91 to 100: you will need: 5,400 points X the level you are advancing too.
For levels 101+: you will need: 6,500 points X the level you are advancing too.
Notes:
1. When you level, KEEP any experience-points you have extra (you earned them,
so keep them).
2. If you CAN gain enough experience-points, you may level your character multiple
times in one situation or encounter (this is perfectly okay).
Example:
A level #0 conjurer has gained 124 experience points, which will advance her to level #1.
She needed 100 experience points to level. When she levels to 1st, she will subtract 100 points from the 124 she earned. The 24 points remaining will carry over to be applied to the experience-points needed to advance to level #2.
